Accessibility statement
Last updated: 2026-10-10
I want everyone to be able to use this site — whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. The site was designed and built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, which is also the basis of Israeli Standard IS 5568 and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.
What’s in place
- Keyboard access to everything — navigation, project gallery, image viewer and command menu (Ctrl/⌘ + K).
- A “Skip to content” link as the first item on every page, and a clearly visible focus outline.
- Semantic structure — landmarks, a logical heading order and labelled navigation regions.
- Text alternatives for every meaningful image; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text, checked automatically on every build.
- Motion control — the site respects your system’s “reduce motion” setting, and the Reduce motion switch in the footer turns off smooth scrolling, animations and the animated background on demand.
- Responsive and zoomable layouts that work at 200% zoom and on small screens, in portrait and landscape.
- Links that open in a new tab say so to screen-reader users.
- No accessibility “overlay” widgets — accessibility is built into the code itself.
Testing
Each version is checked with automated tools (axe-core) for WCAG 2.2 A/AA issues, and reviewed manually with keyboard-only navigation in current versions of Chrome, Safari and Firefox on desktop and mobile.
Known limitations
- Some project images are screenshots or charts; their key information is also described in the text of each project page.
- Linked external sites and live products are not covered by this statement.
